I love Sex and the City. The movie is an absolute continuance of season six. You have to know what happened in the last TV season to follow the movie.
The girls' attire are just gorgeous, along with their shoes and accessories. Comparing to the TV series, the storyline is far lighter, i.e., less serious in that the movie doesn't have those fascinating questions of life that were presented at each episode. Maybe it was b/c the movie was meant to be a conclusion of the TV series, which was fine by me.

This felt like a 2 hour long sex and the city HBO episode.
That's a good thing.
When I saw the movie I was trying to figure out if the Big plotline made sense in light of his character, and after rewatching the last season, it does. So, my initial reaction, that the plotline was contrived, has been retracted and I'm happy with the film.
Great to see the ladies back for their big screen event.
