Like DokBrowne, I'm really not sure what else to add here. I suppose "um... it's real funny" isn't an acceptable review that's not delivered from a barstool, huh?
Either way, "the Hangover" is terrific. Kudos all-around, but Ken Jeong exhibits almost daily why he's comedy's bit-player "that guy" of the moment - often to hilarious effect, something never more prevalent than it is here - and Todd Phillips' little paeans to male rituals and the nature of male friendships never fail to warm my crass little heart. And I mean that with the utmost sincerity. Consistently hilarious and thoroughly watchable.

Yeah, can't think of what to add...it's hilarious, you like the characters, the actors shine (Zach Galifianakis deserves an award himself for taking Will Ferrell's brand of abrasive man-child randomness to new heights, but yeah definitely agree on Ken Jeong. He's done enough great yet brief work in comedy for the last few years and this is a break-out turn of unrestrained proportions), and Todd Phillips mines the archetypal situation for lunacy in a variety of ways, and with nimble skill. This is an apt follow up to his quintessential R-rated takes on male-bonding rituals like road trips and fraternities (please no more of this "Starsky & Hutch"/"School for Scoundrels" utter waste, Phillips)

Funny pretty much all the way through, and that's all you can ask for this type of movie. In a just society, Ken Jeong would be preparing his Oscar speech.
[edit: didn't hold up as well on second viewing and am downgrading]
