Hook! Hook! Hook! Hook! The touching movie about what happens to Peter Pan when he finally grows up. One of the musical scores is made by John Williams, the guy who created such classics as the theme to Star Wars, Jaws, Jurassic Park, and the E.T flying scene. Should see this one, and young kids (well, not like four) would like it. Don't be put in the boo box: the computer animation for the movie is really good, and it has really good actors (Robin Williams), but when the little girl sings...time to put down the volume just a wee bit.

it starts ok but drags on too much for its own good, and its mostly a kids movie so its predictably not for adults. when u consider who its for its not too bad, although hoffman looks stupid lol.

I think it's interesting that when Dustin Hoffman got the script for Hook, he figured that he'd probably get the offer to play the Robin Hood character. It's potentially a "what if" story of Robin Hood in his 40s. The film is altogether visually appealing and the cast is charming, but the story really doesn't go anywhere, basically turning into a predictable replay of its source rather than a good continuation of it. Julia Roberts plays a precociously fun Tinkerbell. Good but somewhat floundering effort.
