After seeing this together, my husband said "You owe me big time". But as I looked over at him during the movie, he was laughing so hard he was gasping for breath. Yes it is a chick flick. But it was a love story made for people our age. Even with wrinkles and potbellies, two people can "have a fling" even exes. Meryl Streep is luminous and Alex Baldwin is totally believable as the two ex mates who have not quite ended with each other to the dismay of their children. Steve Martin in a serious, sensitive mode is her architect who completes the triangle. Yes I enjoyed it. Thank you Nancy Meyers.
