Well recently these past 20 years lots of books have been made into movies like classics, Lord Of The Rings, Congo, Jurassic Park (1, and 2) and many other timeless adventures. Well here we have a movie like Lord Of The Rings. A great book and a great movie taking place thousands of years ago in different ages. The whole story includind the prologue spans approximetely 3100 years. Now the book makes places like Rivendell look like it has been a few days but really they are there for about a year, and by the time Frodo receives the ring to when he first puts it on is a couple of decades. In the movie only a matter of days. So thus decides the fact that books that are changed to movies alter the book. Because of the Lord Of The Rings trilogy people no longer care much about how much a book is altered when shot on the scene. They just say hey, whatever it's a good story and a great movie, let's just enjoy it, so my saying is LIVE & LET DIE, the movies that were origanally books, what I am saying is don't judge movies because of how they altered things just enjoy.
