I can't do my movie chronology thing that I ripped off from jeff_v anymore because of complications with my Microsoft Word program. That was summer 2004 when it happened, and I still haven't gotten it fixed. Such is the summary of my life. Anyway, I've been itching to do SOMETHING with it ever since then, so here at least is a 2007 recap of all the movies I've seen released this year, ranked by quality. Eventually I'll get around to adding the rest of the years, when I fix some kinks.
Oh, and I didn't bother sticking to any nebulous technicalities as far as release dates are concerned. I hate how some movies are officially from last year but weren't even released until this year, but then you can't count them among this year's crop because blah blah blah. So who cares - I follow it to a logical point (like if I could've seen the movie last year and just didn't, like say "The Good Shepherd", it doesn't count, but for others like "Behind the Mask" or "Fay Grim", they weren't even remotely available to me until recently. End of story.
Here it is. An uncommon surplus of good movies so far. Not sure if I'm getting softer or entertainment is getting sharper. Even the bad movies are giving me a rush (300, Ghost Rider, Transformers)...
