[Considering how embarrassed I've been at not having seen this yet, I was surprised that I had to enter it into the database.]
It's a shame All That Jazz came out the same year as Apocalypse Now, because any other year you would be able to confidently assert that Bob Fosse's film had the best editing. There are other similarities to Coppola's mad epic (both are the dying gasps of the American film renaissance of the 1970s), as there are to Fellini's 8 1/2, but make no mistake, this is a Fosse film through and through.
