A funny, genuine road movie/coming-of-age drama, in which the person coming of age has a teenage son and is pushing 40. Felicity Huffman is uncannily convincing as Bree, a male-to-female transsexual.

Felicity Huffman gives the performance of her life as a transgendered man who finds the son she never knew she had. She also finds out who she really is. This is a beautifully made movie and it touched me deeply.
