The epitome of a filler project, apparently meant to ride on Elizabeth Taylor's newly-famed coattails. She's the daughter of William Powell, a bemusedly wise (as always) old lawyer who's coerced into defending a showy mob figure. Instead of a courtroom drama, though, Taylor's involvement requires it to be a romance, and a snoozer of one at that. Even at 69 minutes this perfectly uninspired junk will bore you into a coma. Powell is unnecessarily good at times, at least, but Taylor is just playing the hotness card and that shady love interest of hers is forgettable. It's all bland to the tilt
