Somewhat intriguing mystery/suspense film in which a lawyer gets involved in a murder plot to kill his girlfriend's husband. This has a star studded cast which includes William Hurt, Kathleen Turner, Mickey Rourke, and Ted Danson and there is a surprise ending.

Actors-Kathleen Turner and William Hurt
Plot-A woman(Turner) seduces a man(Hurt) to commit murder for her.
Review-This movie is a great example of more modern film noir or neo noir. It is like a film noir strait out of the 40's but with lots of sex. The movie oozes with sex, its in the dialouge, its in the actors and its just in the movie. None of the sex is gratuitus and it is well done. This movie has so many good things going for it, it has wonderful directing, extrordinary atmosphere and fantastic acting. The script is also good and sharp. The music is great also and fits the movie perfectly. The only reason this movie didnt get a 10 was because it was slow ina few parts and some scenes could have been cut out. Other then that this movie is fantastic!
Rating-R for strong sexuality, languge and some violence

Film Noir reinvented for the 80s. Writer/director Lawrence Kasdan created neo-noir with this 1981 Florida set film. William Hurt stars as Ned Racine a wonderfully incompetent lawyer. Kathleen Turner is Matty Walker, the dame he lusts after who finagles him into murdering her rich husband. Of course, nothing is what it seems. Shot well with fantastic atmosphere and great performances by the leads and supporting ones from Ted Danson and Mickey Rourke. Body Heat is as twisty as an Auntie Anne's cinnamon sugar pretzel and just as satisfying.
