Charming and clever for two acts, this Mamet-esque shell game of a movie fades fast in the home stretch as it piles con ontop of con. Hell if it ain't a lot of fun for those first sixty or seventy minutes, though; it's certainly more vibrant and compulsively watchable than anything Mamet has done recently. And it's easy to see why Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney decided to purchase its rights for an American remake.
