This movie rocked on so many levels and I just saw it today!!!I think this movie is the best Friday or Nightmare hands down!!!I loved every minute of it and it made me laugh a lot and that kicked butt!!!The reviewers except you guys have not been fair and i think the acting was done really well!!!Grant you it won't win any oscars but i think it deserves one!!!The story,the graphics,the humor,the acting-all topnotch caliber!!!FvJ is extremely scary i don't know what these reviewers are thinking this movie scared the crap out of me and me likey when that happens!!!Five-star movie and for the people who said Kelly Rowland couldn't act forget you i thought they all did a very good job!!!I liked Monica Keena but i do agree with the reviewers she did cry too much and the movie wasn't as violent as I thought it was going to be but the sequel hehehe can straighten that out!!!!Jason was even scarier than in Jason X and i loved that movie too!!!Freddy was really creepy and extremely funny i loved him!!!Don't get me wrong the movie was really violent just not to a Friday the 13th standard in my opinion!!!All in all frightening,scary,creepy,hilarious,and well worth the money!!!Go see it if you dare!!!Welcome to our nightmare come true!!!!I will definitely buy this when it comes out!!!I would love to see it again but i don't do things like that the first time awesome but you keep repeating it gets old because you know what's going to happen!!!Jason X used to be my favorite now Freddy Vs Jason is my number one movie with Jason X and Final Destination 2 in the running!!!Go see it you won't be dissapointed and the fight at the end is well worth the money!!!Now all i have to do is wait for the sequel,Cabin Fever,Texas Chainsaw Remake,Scary Movie 3,and Halloween 9 ooh yeah come to papa!!!Watch the virgin sacrifice and Kia nose job part it will make you squirm an make you laugh!!!!The number 1 movie in America and will always be the number 1 movie of my heart!!!!

After seeing the debacle Alien Vs Predator, I had really low expectations for this movie. I was a little surprised at it. It managed to be interesting. And it is one of the best films in both Nightmare of Elm Street (easy to do) and Friday the 13th (really easy to do) franchises. The film manages to revive both series too, which I never thought I would never say.

A basically satisfying culmination of both series, yet still as sophomoric, slow paced, nonsensical, and low budget looking as any of the earlier movies ever were, like those are trademarks that will always be applied to these flicks no matter how far removed we get from the original sources and no matter how many entirely different crews of directors, writers, actors, set designers etc come and go. There are just some things that will enver change I'm afraid

I liked it! Lots of Freddy, Lots of Jason and the best part is that they battle and the fight scenes are well shot. I enjoyed the fact that they tell each horror monsters back story. It mixes well...the acting is bad, but what do you expect...Lots of fun.
