i'm finding it hard to comment on this film .. suffice to say that it is very inspired, very ambitious .. and also, if you typically don't have patience during long films, this is not the film for you ..

There are people who have this philosophy that all movies should have a desirable length (like 90mins). For them, this movie would be considered too slow, too long. As I think movies can have different time lengths, same fashion books have different thicknesses, it's a facinating film. It's something hollywood just can't offer. A cool plot, though-provoking dialogs, interesting characters..

A film more to be admired than loved, more interesting to read about afterwards and watch unfold. That's not to say it was boring --I didn't mind soaking up the details and getting the feel for what was about to transpire as the artist readied his studio, for example.
