Sets are fun to look at, Morgan Freeman in a rare bad guy role thankfully uses tons of pathos to make himself as friendly and gentle as he can while firing guns and searchingly desperately for money. Slater is always a solid hero. Minnie Driver is likable. Randy Quaid is Morgan's moral opposite, and does it very well

it's a typical action film, centered around a heist during a flood, but it manages to the energy level high for its full duration. if you're in the mood for pure, simple action .. this'll fit the bill.
