For me this film is perfect. A complete attack on the eighties. I love the eighties and this film manages to get everything from that era into the space of 90 minutes.
It's constantly funny and very heart warming.
It's Adam Sandler again and it's tipical of his type of movie. He really shows his potential in this flick.
Drew Barrymore also stars. Now I've never been a great fan of hers but, she was the perfect selection for this role.
This film has everything. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry. It looks great and sounds terrific, with a soundtrack that is really second to none.

80's nightmare - if you grew up in the 80s you'll enjoy some of the cultural references but otherwise if you want to see a Adam Sandler Film, go see Happy Gilmore, the only work of his that I enjoyed. And I'm also not the biggest Drew Barrymore fan - frankly I found Christine Taylor more attractive.

Putting a tear in my eye, an 80's movie in the 90's, what could be better? Billy Idol being in there makes it real good too, more authentic. Adam Sandler does an excellant job (another one of his successes). I especially liked the part on the plane, at the end, when he sings for her. Gets you right there.

Fun little Adam Sandler picture (probably the most good-natured of all his character roles) in which he plays the title role-- that of a down and out Wedding Singer in the mid 1980's. Sweet as honey as well as a biting spoof of the 80's all rolled into one, it's got just enough charm to make this pretty enjoyable. One of the funniest things in it is the real Billy Idol getting tough with a jerk on an airplane. Even those that don't usually appreciate Sandler's humor would probably like this film. Worth a look.
