Like most of Eddie Murphy's late-90's offerings (excluding the funny "Nutty Professor" films), "Dr. Doolittle" uses up all its laughs in the film's first half, leaving us with a slow, tepid second act. I mean, it's better than "I Spy" and "Pluto Nash," but, Eddie, what's the deal? This one goes out to all the people who aren't going to see "Haunted Mansion."

Funny and delightful!!!Eddie Murphy is the perfect Dr.Dolittle and the animal voices make the movie even funnier!!!!Chris Rock steals the show as an adorable guinnea pig who says things like:hey honey,i have just been violated,ooh you scared the crap out of me-see there it is!!!Heartwarming and great for the family!!!
