This continuation of Romancing the Stone is still worthwhile for an adventure movie buff. The action and adventure are still there, and Michael Douglas, Danny Devito, and Kathleen Turner still deliver terrific chemistry. Not in my TOP 100 like it's predecessor, however pretty damn decent for a follow up.

Meaningless fluffy sequel to Romancing the Stone. This time, Kathleen Turner is traveling with Michael Douglas, but fed up with the lifestyle that she once so often dreamed of, she parts with him and joins a mysterious local named Omar to adventure through Arabia in search of The Jewel of the Nile-an Arabic holy man, in order to steal his title and powers. They find him and Turner soon finds herself behind bars with the spiritual leader. What do you know? Douglas comes to the rescue with DeVito not far behind, and the four personalities escape from the wicked Omar by crossing North Africa. It's got its thrilling moments, but it's a sequel, really nothing more.
