its only decent i laugh when people compare it to like the wizard of oz since theyre both musicals. first of all judy garland is in a class of her own and second its not a classic the wizard of oz could be considered one.

An absolutely magical, utterly charming movie, perhaps Disney's best. Two British children's nanny leaves the house's employ because of the behavior of the children. They apply for a new nanny (the father giving one job description, the children giving a completely different one), and the advertisement is answered by a "tricky" Mary Poppins. She takes the children on adventures all throughout London, all the while teaching them important lessons about discipline and life. Dick Van Dyke playing the penguin is a classic hoot, not to mention the countless other memorable scenes. Wonderful, wonderful cinema.
