Race drivers who overdose testosterone supplements. I believe Tom Cruise met Nicole Kidman in this film. What can you say? It's movie magic. Keep this film around for those nights where you just want to pump your sound system and piss off your neighbors.

At least with "Top Gun" it felt like their hearts were somewhat in it. Here, even though the running lengths of both movies are basically the same, it seems like every point of the movie is rushed through unconvincingly. It generates no faith in Tom Cruise's character, no interest in racing, no sense of consequence, no real relationships, no drama. Everyone acts like they were forced to do this (or maybe that's just the crappy stench of the lackluster material), and it being so flagrantly unoriginal already doesn't alleviate the problem. It's easy to sit through, pretty and full of actors you know, but you won't feel the least bit sated afterward

Top Gun in cars. Trite but true. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman probably remember this movie fondly because it's where and when they met. But for the rest of us, please Tom, don't do this again.

Following Top Gun is hard enough, but following it up with a very similar type of movie about car racing, let alone NASCAR? Nascar just sucks. Yes, and this is where our lives began to be tormented by shows like Entertainment Tonight which had nothing else to talk about but TOM and NICOLE. Please!!
I must admit that I did love the scene with Tom Cruise and Michael Rooker where they are racing wheelchairs in the hospital. Anyway, a 6.5!

I rate this movie mediocre. Yes it has some action but to much focus is put on the love affair between Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. Also auto racing isnt among my favorite sports otherwise I would give it a higher rating.
