Whoah. This bloated vampire epic is less concerned with delving into the psychology of the immortal vampire - an intriguing concept, granted - and more interested in making the women of 1994 hot and bothered by casting all of the era's sex symbols as stylish vampires that simply want to suck your neck. It's the "Twilight" of its time, with one notable exception: a young Kirsten Dunst is absolutely magnetic on-screen. Even as a child, she outshines stars Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise with such intensity and ease that it's almost scary. The film crackles whenever she's around - without her, it lags, limping along interminably. An endurance test.

While I think more women got a kick out of this film than men definitely one of the more powerful films that came out of that year. Hearthrobs Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt play vampires - and which women wouldn't want their veins sucked dry by them? I'm sure Kirsten Dunst will be scrumptions in time - but she's still a little young - especially in this film.

Hmmm, not too good review for this.. Personally I loved it! I'm the blood/gorey/action kinda person, and like vamps a lot. So this movie was great. Loved the eyes! It has a very good story line and GREAT acting. If vampire were real I believe this could very well sum up there life story. I love the ending also.....could it leave room for a sequil (sp?)? I certinly hope so but doubt it...
